Why did the list I created not save after exiting Scottrader?
In order to make permanent changes to a list, you need to use either Create List or Edit List. Using Add Symbols or Delete only makes temporary changes to a list. Create List and Edit Lists are found under the Stock Lists button.
Make sure your list has a list name. If you do not have a name for your list you will be unable to save any changes. Re-create your list with a list name so you can edit and save changes. Do not enter any spaces in your list name.
If you have tried using the information here and are still unable to save a list, e-mail us with details and your account number.
Why do the symbols show but no information is scrolling?
First check that the top left of the window says Active.
Make sure you still have a connection to the Internet. If you lose your connection to the Internet, you will not be able to receive quote data.
If you are accessing through a work network, make sure you have access through TCP socket 443. Check with your System Administrator to make sure you have access through port 443 to secure sites. If they need to restrict access, e-mail us and we can provide you with further information.
If the previously stated information does not apply to your situation, e-mail us or check the Message Center.
When I click the Scottrader link, nothing happens.
First check that your system meets the requirements necessary to access the Scottrader quote system. See System Requirements.
If your system meets the necessary requirements, make sure that you do not have any pop-up inhibiting software enabled. Many Internet Service Providers are now including pop-up inhibiting software. Some of these include America Online, Earthlink and MSN. This software is also available for download from the Internet. Pop-up inhibiters can block access to the Scottrader. Pop-up inhibitors have to be disabled or have to be set to allow pop-ups for our site in order to access the Scottrader.

First, if you have a personal firewall installed, disable it and see if this corrects the problem. If this corrects the problem and you still want to use the firewall, you will need to check the firewall manual or contact the firewall supplier.
